Clinique Strawberry Fudge Collection for Holiday 2010

Inspired by one of Clinique’s most popular Colour Surge Eye Shadow Duos, Clinique’s NEW Limited-Edition Strawberry Fudge Colour Collection is sure to top every holiday wish list. This decadent collection combines rich chocolate browns with luscious blushing pinks for a sweet festive look.

The shining star of the collection is the NEW Limited Edition Strawberry Fudge Holiday Compact- a treat for eyes and cheeks. Beneath the beautifully designed mirrored cover of this sleek silver compact lies a trio of eye shadows and a romantic soft pink blush. These perfectly matched shades light up the eyes, while a swipe of blush conjures the glow that follows a stolen kiss under the mistletoe. High Lengths Mascara creates long, pretty lashes to accentuate the shimmering eye shadow shades. And for the finishing touch – NEW Vitamin C Lip Smoothie Antioxidant Lip Colour in Strawberry Bliss provides beautiful gloss and shine for a pretty pink pout.

6 Fall Beauty Must-Have Products for 2010

by Diana Ajih on September 7, 2010

in Fall

Now that summer is coming to an end, it’s time to start easing into fall. With a vast variety of products this year, incorporating fall beauty products should be a breeze and to make it more effortless, here’s a list of fall beauty must-haves!

  1. 6 Fall Beauty Must Have Products for 2010Sephora by OPI Nail colour in Just A Little Dangerous ($9) – Purple is the trend shade for fall. The dramatic eggplant purple will add an edge to any look.
  2. Anastasia Illumin8 With Youthful Synergy Complex Eyeshadow Palette ($40)- An eyeshadow palette full of neutral shades for barely there makeup.  It’s also formulated to act like skincare.
  3. Kat Von D Adora Eau de Parfum ($55) – This new fragrance from Kat Von D exudes a sensual and passionate aura with notes of lychee, boysenberry and thyme, the perfect mix for transitioning your scent to the new season. It also happens to be named after one of my best friends (Adora).
  4. Lancome Defincils Precious Cells High Definition Amplifying Mascara ($29)- The first visibly regenerating, high-definition mascara by Lancôme. Its unique Lash Densifier complex, with precious plant cell extract, regenerates the lash condition so it leaves lashes stronger and densified in as little as 4 weeks.
  5. Bare Escentuals 100% Natural Lip Gloss($15)- It is an all-natural, preservative-free formula that contains a healthy infusion of 100% pure bareMinerals that provide an elegant, sparkling tint of color. It delivers lasting hydration, protective antioxidants, and a trailing scent of vanilla.
  6. Sephora Collection Colorful Palette in Kiss From 10 ($24) – Give the neutral eye a twist using this natural toned palette perfect for all skin complexions. The four shadows and matte liner featured are all formulated with a color-intensifying HIBOOST complex to ensure a look that lasts.

Several great items to add to your makeup bag. You can find all these products at Sephora.com and Sephora stores.

12 Reasons You Can and Should Wear White After Labor Day (via College Candy)

Guest post from my friends at College Candy!

There are some fashion rules you should follow.

Never show your legs and your cleavage at the same time? That’s a good one.
No denim on denim? Also a keeper.

Then, there are those rules that should just be ignored. Your purse doesn’t always have to match your shoes. You can mix prints. And most importantly you can wear white after Labor Day.

Of all the rules put forth by the fashion police, this one has always baffled me the most. Why is white only acceptable between Memorial Day and Labor Day? Why is it that this one color has such a limited lifespan, only to be paired with bikinis and boy shorts? From the plain white t-shirt, to the classic white button down, to winter white pieces, the color white is essential to every wardrobe, all year long. Below are some pieces that will make you want to wear white every day.
