max factor makeup

Sad news for Max Factor in the beauty world. According to P&G, the makeup artist genius will no longer be selling its makeup products in the U.S. starting 2010. Max Factor is not going out a business, they are just focusing more on overseas market since the sales are stronger. Check out the story, for more details.

I’m very saddened by this news since I’ve recently grown to love Max Factor and to now here that it’s leaving the U.S. is a bit overwhelming for me. You will be missed.

How do you feel about Max Factor leaving the U.S.?

I think it's really gonna suck because their mascaras are great, & I think it's really stupid of them to pull the line off the shelves in the USA. I'm thoroughly disgusted.

*gasp* NOOOOOOO!!!!! I just found out about Max Factor leaving the US. Ive been wearing Max Factor foundation for yeeeeeaaaarsss. I love their foundation. It lasts all day without melting and its the only one that doesnt make my skin itch. What am I going to do now???? I dont care for covergirl or other cosmetic lines. I am so bummed… = (

I am very sad that I will not be finding Max Factor liquied makup at my walmart or any other store in US. I have been using Max Factor for some time now, as it is the only makeup that I really love, it gives such a natural look, without the hard makeup look. This is sad that the US is not purchasing this like other locations.. Is it not possible to keep Max Factor in one local retail store for those of us that really love it and do not want to give it up.

I am devastated that Max Factor is leaving! I have a portwine birthmark that I have been covering with the Panstik for many, many years. What will I do???? Nothing else has worked as well and so consistently. I am in tears as I try to envision going out in public without coverage. Will we be able to order it from overseas??? This is a mistake!

I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT MAX FACTOR WILL NO LONGER BE HERE, MY MOTHER USED MAX FACTOR STICK MAKE UP SINCE WORLD WAR TWO, THEN I FOLLOWED HER CHOICER WHEN I TURNE 18, MY MOTHER PASSED ON IN 2009, AND I AM NOW 75 yrs old AND I BELIEVE SHE WOULD FIND IT JUST AS SAD AND DESPERATE AS I FEEL NOW THAT MAX FACTOR PAN CAKE WILL NO LONGER BE AVAILIABL. I DON'T EVEN WANT TO START LOOKING FOR A REPLACEMENT. HOW DEPRESSING THIS IS FOR SO MANY HUNDREDS OF LAYAL CUSTOM ERS. THANK YOU MAX FACTOR FOR ALL THOSE YEARS OF SATISFACTION FOR MY MOTHER AND I.

I am very destressed about Max Factor not selling in the US. I would like to know how I can order Max Factor Pan Stick True Beige

Sucks P&G. You've gone and taken away the only mascara that I can use without eye irritation. I have been using Max Factor Water Proof Mascara for 35 yrs. and to just go and pull a product from the faithful users…..well – that's just not good business.
Where can we buy Max Factor Cosmetics ??

I realize this is for comments, but I have a question. I have been buying Max Factor through Drugstore.com and they have now stopped selling the product I like. Is it possible to buy products directly from Max Factor in the UK?

Diana Ajih January 11, 2011 at 5:34 pm

I don’t believe so. Max Factor UK site is linked to Boots.com (which is a drugstore in the UK) and they don’t deliver outside the country. Drugstore.com is still selling Max Factor products but if it’s a particular product they don’t have, I would just try to find other online stores that sell it. If it all else fails, there’s no harm in trying a new makeup brand. I hope this helps.

No fair :( I have very pale skin and I prefer it that way, and Max Factor is the only brand that makes foundation pale enough for me. I only use the pale porcelain shade, and their foundation glides on like a second skin..I HATE everything else! And even though I’ve been buying it online for the past year and 1/2, the prices are so jacked up it’s not even funny. A bottle of foundation used to be less than $10 – now it’s being sold on Ebay for over $30!! MaxFactor really needs to come back to the US :(
