Well… it has happened again. Another popular makeup brand is collaborating with a childhood favorite icon. Stila Cosmetics and Mattel has made a deal to create Barbie loves Stila collection, a new spring cosmetic line that will hit Sephora next month. Celebrating Barbie’s 50th birthday, the makeup brand will also be the cosmetic sponsor for Barbie’s first runway show at New York Fashion Week coming in the next month. The makeup line will be a very vital part of the show celebrating Barbie’s look and style throughout the decades.
This limited edition line will feature 4 decades of beauty cans($40) with a description of the beauty and fashion look for each doll.
Ponytail Doll
- Red Lipstick in Ponytail
- Liquid Eyeliner
- Three-pan-paper-wrapped palette with 2 eyecolors and 1 cheek color
Malibu Barbie
- Pale Pink Lipglaze in Malibu
- Black mascara
- Compact with 2 eyecolors and bronzer
Foxy Doll
- Lip Glaze in Foxy
- mascara
- Compact with 2 eyecolors and cheek color
Jewel Doll
- Bright Pink Lip Glaze in Jewel
- Multi-Effect Mascara
- Compact with 2 eyecolors and cheek color
According to WWD, Stila will also launch a new version of the patent-pending talking palette that will give tips on how to get Barbie’s look.
Very excited about this collection. I can’t wait to view it at Sephora and the makeup looks at New York Fashion Week.
