If your weekly Sunday HBO fix and that trip to the movie theater to see even more of Joe Manganiello in “Magic Mike” hasn’t been enough to satisfy your True Blood thirst, it’s officially time to make way for the show’s sexy new makeup line, set to debut on HSN on August 9th. For the second True Blood-inspired makeup line (after Tarte’s collection from last year), HBO has joined forces with the retailer to create Forsaken – a vampy collection that includes everything from fragrance and candles to nail polish and lipstick and beyond. Deborah Lippmann fans like me will love the celebrity manicurist’s five new varnishes, created just for the collection, which draw inspiration from fairy-hybrid Sookie, bad-ass vamps Pam and Jessica, as well as Lippmann’s first-ever foray into lip color – a blood-red lipstick fittingly dubbed “Bite Me.” Overall, the collection is dark and sultry, with just the perfect dash of shimmer and romance. While True Blood’s vampires certainly don’t sparkle, you can with the collection’s shimmery body veil and Fairy Dust nail lacquer! Be on the lookout when the collection debuts next month!
