If you’re color-shy when it comes to makeup, but still a bit intrigued by less “practical” hues, you probably have seen the sea foam trend once or twice. After all, sea foam nails are totally in right now, even if you personally haven’t worked up the nerve to ask for it during your next manicure… but aside from wearing the shade on your hands and feet, sea foam is popping up on peepers as well. The color is unexpectedly easy to wear because it’s not too bold like neon, yet still stands out and makes brown and hazel eyes totally sparkle. But be careful — just because it’s “in” doesn’t mean it’s chic to overdo it; for example, a dramatic sea foam “smoky eye” is best left to the runway, or to Mimi from “The Drew Carey Show.” Stick to just sea foam liner — or even a little shimmer if you’re feeling daring — and more played-down shadow paired with an otherwise neutral-hued face for a fresh pop of color that doesn’t look too garish, or too 80s for that matter!
