Illamasqua Freak Eau de parfum has top notes of Black Davana, Opium Flower, and belladonna that charms the senses into unrestrainable lust and passion, heart notes of Poison Hemlock, Datura, and Queen of the Night, and base notes of Frankincense, Oud, and Myrrh, that obsessively captures the senses.
Along with the launch of Freak parfum, Illamasqua has also created a capsule collection featuring three limited edition products, whose shades reflect the rare blooms that make up this most exotic of scents.
- Nail Varnish in Hemlock (pale opal green iridescent)
- Pure Pigment in Queen of the Night (blackened plum)
- Sheer Lipgloss in Datura (neutral mauve)
You can pre-order starting October 3rd at Illamasqua.com before it launches October 20th for £59 (75 ml eau de parfum); It will launch in November 2011 at select Sephora & SpaceNKs.

Burberry’s newest product launch is actually an historically one. It represents the next chapter of Burberry’s 155 years of history.
So what’s the latest product launch from Burberry?
Burberry Body- the first ever, fully integrated perfume that’s connected with the Burberry brand as a whole. The brand was secretive for awhile and wouldn’t release any pics or info of the new fragrance. The anticipation is finally over so here’s the first look of Burberry Body before it launches in September.
The new fragrance carries a feminine scent with an eclectic mix of green absinthe, freesia, and illuminating peach (the top notes); natural rose, iris, and sandalwood (the middle notes); woody cashmeran, creamy vanilla, sensual amber, and musk (the base notes).
Designed by Chief Creative officer Christopher Bailey, the bottle itself is a sleek glass bottle with a rose gold engraved cap. The feminine design and elegant packaging creates the look and feel of luxury at its finest!
Good news! Burberry fans can now sample the new fragrance via the brand’s Facebook page. Pretty sweet!

Heidi Klum, known for her supermodel status and her hosting gig at Project Runway, is launching her first ever perfume called Shine. The scent include notes of mandarin, pear, and pink peppercorn at the top, Venzuelan Tonka bean, musk comone, and vanilla at the bottom, and sunflower, mimosa, and lily of the valley in between.
Here’s what Heidi told WWD about her fragrance: ”There are different moods that, as a fragrance creator, you can travel to.” “But for my first one, I wanted what I felt my staple would be. I wanted it to be sensual and feminine, but still luxurious and expensive-smelling — because I think there are so many perfumes out there that smell cheap and too sweet.”
I love the structured look of the bottle. Such an appealing bottle design.
She also has another fragrance, Summer Shine in the works. It’s scheduled to come out next year as well as another addition in 2013. Three fragrances within the next 2-3 years? Now that’s one smart business woman!

It’s finally here! The first ever fragrance from Jimmy Choo will soon be available for purchase. Jimmy Choo’s founder and Creative Director Tamara Mellon created a special fragrance in honor of the brand’s 15th anniversary.
The new fragrance is ravishing with notes of exotic tiger orchid, sweet toffee and Indonesian patchouli, mixed with green top notes. Its packaging is lovely too which comes in a python-printed box and I love the look of the faceted light pink bottle. Truly a gem!
You can find the Jimmy Choo fragrance at Saks Fifth avenue stores starting January 15th! The fragrance will retail at $95.
