As we’re nearing the end of the semester, school isn’t the only thing I’m being lazy about. I’ve got a serious case of senioritis, but it’s affecting my beauty routine as well. I know, I know. Me of all people should be able to suck it up for the next couple of weeks and keep myself looking presentable, right? Right. That’s exactly why I have found ways to be lazy while still being a good beauty guru.

Looks like Emma Stone is blonde again and she looks fabulous! Hairstylist David Babaii styled Emma Stone’s beautiful soft waves with products from IT&LY HAIRFASHION’s Purity Design Line for this year’s Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.
How to: Emma Stone Soft Waves
1. He began with IT&LY Pure Shampoo and Pure Conditioner to cleanse and hydrate the hair.
“I love a clean canvas to create my masterpieces”, says David Babaii. Inside tip: Follow with a final cool water rinse for when you want extra volume. This seals the cuticle and helps hair radiant extra shine.
2. Next, towel dry gently to remove all excess water then apply IT&LY Pure Style Mousse for hold and lift.
3. He then divided her hair into 3 sections when blow drying: top, sides and back leaving the nape area free.
4. David used the nozzle attachment on his blow dryer and finished the drying process with a medium round brush to smooth hair straight.
5. When finished drying the entire head, he took large sections and wrapped ¾” of it around the inside of a large barrel curling iron, holding for 10 seconds. Carefully he released the section and completed the entire head in the same manner.
6. To finish, spray with IT&LY Pure Definition Hair Spray for memory hold and UV Protection.

Last week, Jennifer Lawrence was spotted in Minnesota rockin a sexy 60′s Brigitte Bardot hairstyle, but with a more modern twist. Celebrity Hairstylist, David Babaii created this half up, half down Brigitte Bardot look for the Hunger Games star. It’s a great hairstyle to wear for 2012 and Babaii shows up how to get this look step by step.

Step 1. To begin, he added IT&LY HAIRFASHION’s Pure Fluid Experience for a medium soft hold.
Step 2. After drying her hair using his fingers to create defined texture, the fringe was smoothed straight with slight volume by using a large round brush.
Step 3. Next, he took the top and sides lifting them slightly before securing with pins for a slight bump.
Step 4. The bottom section was curled with a large barrel curling iron to create loose waves.
Step 5. To finish he finger combed the hair with IT&LY HAIRFASHION’s Pure Definition Hairspray to loosen the waves with a medium holding spray.

Are y’all hooked on Netflix? Because I sure am. And I’ve been watching Gossip Girl for the past three weeks. I finally finished season 4 and am dying to start on season 5 when I can. Anyway, I’ve been total inspired by all of the fabulous hair on the show. I fell absolutely in love with Serena’s messy, teased ponytails and figured it’s super easy and quick to do. Plus, it keeps your hair out of your face and is perfect for dirty hair days.

My favorite part of spring is the style. The make up and hairstyles that become popular in the spring remind me of my second semester of senior year of high school when I finally had time to work on cute hair styles and perfect my make up for the day. I love the combination of a cute, braided bang with dewy skin and shimmery eye shadow. Because celebrities always (okay, usually) have their hair perfected…..
With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, we all have the same thought on our minds – how am I going to style my hair?!
