I know this is late notice but I needed to post this hot new gloss from Lancome. Lancome is definitely setting the trend of black this Fall season. I’ve noticed a lot of models wearing dark or even black lipstick in several fashion magazine. The goth lipstick pout is definitely taken notice in fashion right now.
Lancome’s new Color Fever Gloss comes in Piha Black, a sheer black gloss that’s creating so much attention and buzz in the beauty world. It’s a hard look to pull off and not everyone can do it. I don’t think I can; however,
there’s another way you can show off this hot gloss.
Lancome is coming out with a new lip set which comes in Color Fever Gloss Piha Black and Color Fever lipstick in Piha Red. Both colors are derived from high fashion. This set was created by Aaron de Mey and this limited edition, that’s scheduled to come out in November, is only available at www.lancome-usa.com, 5 Lancome boutiques and at Bloomingdales 59th St in New York. Only 500 sets will be sold. If you are in New York, you can call ahead to be put on the waiting list at 212-705-2886. Cost: $48 for set.
This look is super hot and sexy. I love how the red lipstick is topped over the black gloss. It definitely gives your lips more drama. Genius!
What do you think of the new set?

So, I tested out a new product from Clinique called Long Last Glosswear w/SPF 15 which states that the lipgloss juices up your lips for 8 hours. Now, I came across a lot of products that make promises such as this one and they don’t deliver. Since I do wear Clinique and so does my friends and family, I decided to take on the challenge and try it on myself. So this weekend, I went to a clinique counter and tested a sample on my lips. Now, if it actually stayed on for 8 hours, I would buy it. If NOT, I would be very, very disappointed because I like Clinique and most of their products.

I first heard about Lush cosmetics 2 years ago when my co-worker bought me LUSH soaps as a christmas present. Ever since then, I was in love. They smell so nice and it looks and smells so fresh. LUSH is a very popular store in L.A. where they sell fresh handmade soaps. I was reading a magazine where it mentioned Lindsay Lohan shopping at LUSH and I said to myself, “OMG, I shop there too!”
Who knew that Calvin Klein would have a makeup collection. I just learned of this collection over the weekend. They have some pretty great stuff. ck Calvin Klein Makeup Collection has this great shimmer palette ($35) that’s new and great for summer. The palette comes in 4 great earthtone, shimmery colors (white pearl, pale gold, gold, bronze) that can be used on the face, and eyes. I swirled all four together and brushed it on my cheekbones. It really complimented me quite well and really brightened my face. This can be used for any skin tone and it’s definitely a must have for summer. I ended up buying one for myself.
So what’s hot in the Philosophy line, Well… Hope in a Jar w/SPF 20 is. I have always used Hope in a Jar so I was excited when they came out with one that includes SPF. Hope in a Jar w/SPF 20 keeps the skin hydrated and moisturized. It exfoliates the skin for a rosy glow, and the SPF provides UV protection daily. This would be a great buy for the face. ($18-45)

Lip Butter, protects the lips with an SPF 8 while nourishing it with antioxidants. It also soothes lips with the vanilla bean infused in it. Soft lips with SPF 8…….You get the best of both worlds! ($16)
Dr. Brandt Pores No More is a great pore minimizer product. It absorbs oil and improves skin’s complexion also. I’ve used this product for a long time and it definitely treats and camaflouages my pores. What’s great about this beauty product is that you can use as a primer.
