White denim is a hot trend for summer and there are so many ways to wear it. After checking out FabSugar.com video on ways to pair your white denim, I decided to do my own spin on white denim and pair them with other hot summer pieces. Hopefully this will draw some inspiration for your own look. Enjoy!
Bohemian
A White denim jacket is a summer staple so pair it with a less structured piece like a flowy maxi dress. Floral prints, tie dye, stripes or anything that adds color is a good look. To finish, just add some cool accessories like a braided bracelet or a brown wooden necklace to stay with the bohemian look.

Old Navy’s new Fall 2010 collection is a mixed between vintage and biker chic. They are really offering some cool back to school looks. I honestly haven’t been to Old Navy in a minute so I think it’s time for me to stop by and take a peek.
I think the piece that really stands out and is a must-have is the biker jacket. I want it so bad! It comes in 6 colors too!
Other pieces from the collection are: faux fur vests, lace leggings, cardigans, trenchcoats, ponchos, superflare jeans, and buckle boots.

It’s already the middle of July and I’m now feeling the summer heat here in Los Angeles. It took a while for the summer sun to show its face this year. Anyway, now is the time to have fun this summer, head to the beach with friends, or jump in the pool. So grab your bathing suit, shades, sandals, beach towel and of course -a swimsuit cover up.
Bathing suit cover ups are a must have. They are comfortable, simple and comes in so many different styles. Whether its a dress, sarong, or tee you’ll have no problem finding your perfect cover up.

Monica Botkier’s latest collection for fall 2010 has me so excited! I’m dazzled by her gorgeous handbags and shoes. I love the edgy, bad girl chic look to the fall collection. Monica was inspired by this design sentiment: Fearlessly Embrace your Inner Bad Girl. There are just so many to choose from that I just can’t decide on which style I like the best.
The latest fall 2010 collection features fringe, studs, zippers, chain handles, metallics and just about everything that makes this collection spectacular. I gotta have those Holden boots. They’re killer!

Last week, Nicole Richie previewed her House of Harlow 1960 Summer 2010 collection on her site. I truly love her pieces. Her accessories always make a strong statement.
It’s a tribal inspired collection that features earrings, pendant necklaces, rings, and bracelets. According to Richie, “I designed this collection to really contrast the light, airy pieces in the latest Winter Kate collection with bright summer colors and pieces that can be stacked and layered to bring personality and edge to the whole look. Hope you like the pieces as much as I do…”
The House of Harlow 1960 Summer 2010 collection is available at online boutiques like Singer22. Price ranges from $45-$200.

Guest post from my friends at College Candy!
Fourth of July has come and gone (and, thankfully, so has my sunburn). Summer is half way over! Before you know it, you’ll be back at school walking to class hungover way too early because in your summer stupor you seemed to forget that 11am is really still too early to have a class. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves.
It’s still summer and for the past 6 weeks you’ve been working on that tan of yours. And, glass half full, you’ve still got a good 6 or 7 weeks left to bronze yourself. You know what is best paired with a tan? White, coral, turquoise and brown – only the best summer pairings since you put jicama and guacamole together. But to all you Snow White ladies of the universe (I SO feel you, my fair ladied sisters) these colors are universally flattering on every skin tone and every hair color. I have yet to see someone who does NOT look good in turquoise. (Seriously, find me said person and I will buy you a drink.)
Anyway, here are some of my favorite ways to rock this killer summer combo, day or night.
Dress:
I love the eyelet detailing on the dress, as well as the almost-sweetheart neckline. It’s extremely flattering and adorably romantic. The obvious thought would be to go with dainty and feminine accessories, but that’s boring. Add some chunky flair, ladies. Stella and Dot is ALL over these color combos for summer and I’m just loving every single piece. While some of their other pieces are a bit too pricey for this Budget Stylista, they’re having a sale on their SALE (an extra 20% off!) through today so check it out because if you’re going to splurge, now’s the time to do it!

Product Information: Dress – Lulus.com, $42; Shoes – Urban Outfitters, $48; Necklace – Stella and Dot, $35; Bracelet - Stella and Dot, $29.
Pants:
The ankle length on these skinnies makes them universally perfect for heels or flats, so, basically, your entire summer wardrobe. And this brown hobo will transition you straight into fall, but paired with these summer colors it’s not too heavy. If skinny white jeans make you nervous, go up a size. Or, pair with a longer top. (Forever 21 has this adorable ruffled number in turquoise as well!)

Product Information: Shirt – Forever 21, $22.80; Skinny Jeans – Urban Outfitters, $49; Sandals – Urban Outfitters, $34; Bag – Forever 21, $25.80
Shorts
Here’s a way to rock a print but still wear the turq. Paired with a coral accented canvas tote and some brown woven sandals, you’ve got a perfect outfit for a summer day to accent that gorgeous sun kissed skin of yours.

Product Information: Top – Forever 21, $10.80; Shorts – Old Navy, $19.50; Bag – Forever 21, $12.80; Sandals – Forever 21, $14.80
