Recipe: Mixed Berry Mojitos

Sharing is caring!

An easy recipe of Mixed Berry Mojitos. It’s a simple yet refreshing mojito cocktail to make for a crowd at parties. Blended with blueberries, blackberries, fresh mint, vodka and lime juice, it’s the perfect drink when hosting parties.

Blueberry season is near and I’m super excited because it’s one of my favorite summer fruits. I like to include it in just about everything- from muffins and oatmeal to smoothie bowls and ice cream. Today, I’m sharing my favorite berry cocktails infused with mint and lime. It’s refreshing, fruity, subtly sweet and bursting with summery goodness.

My mixed berry mojito cocktail blends together blueberries, blackberries, fresh mint, and lime juice. The lime gives it a bit of tartness so I added simple syrup as a sweetener. As you can see from the pictures, I made two versions: the regular version and a lighter version. I’ll show you how to make both below.

Mixed Berry Mojitos

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of Blueberries (plus more for garnish)
  • 1/2 cup of Blackberries (plus more for garnish)
  • 1/2 cup of Vodka
  • 1/2 cup of fresh mint leaves
  • 2 cups of club soda
  • 1/2 cup of sugar + 1/4 cup of water (simple syrup)
  • 2 tablespoons of fresh lime juice (or 1 lime)
  • Ice
  • A premium cocktail shaker
  • 4 mint sprigs (for garnish)

Instructions

Step 1. Make the simple syrup first by combining sugar and water in a small saucepan over high heat. Bring it to a boil and stir until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat, cover and let cool.

Step 2. Place blueberries, blackberries, mint leaves, and lime juice in a cocktail shaker (I bought mine from Amazon) and muddle.

Step 3. Add ice, vodka, and simple syrup. Shake vigorously to blend.

Step 4. Pour into large glass or mason jar. I like to include whole berries into drinks, but feel free to strain if you prefer.

Step 5. Top with club soda and garnish with a few berries and mint sprigs. For the lighter version, you can use less of the muddled berries mixture and/or add more ice and club soda (depending on the size of glass used) until the mojito is light enough. It’s still fruity and bursting with summer goodness.

Recipe Notes:

Add more simple syrup if you prefer a sweeter taste.
