While premature talk of the holidays usually stresses me out (do I really need to worry about Christmas shopping already?), one plus side to a little early yule-tide cheer is the chance to check out all the holiday makeup collections! The latest on my radar is the just-released L’Wren Scott for Lancome collection. Inspired by every makeup maven’s quest for the perfect red lip, the collection is part classic, part glitzy, with a little added sultriness with a dark smoky eye palette and a gunmetal-hued nail lacquer. Highlights of the collection definitely include the deep red lipstick, which is said to be the ideal versatile lip color due to its sheerness and ability to be worn day or night, and the popular Hypnose Drama Mascara in a limited-edition shimmery silver-gray.
