Chanel’s newly-renovated Soho store (and its exclusive opening-night products) isn’t the only exciting thing the label has in the works for September 10th (just in time for Fashion’s Night Out). For all you Chanel nail polish collectors, get ready for a new limited edition collection — which will also debut in time for FNO — to add to your beauty radar! Les Khakis de Chanel features three camouflage-inspired shades that I’m sure will serve as this season’s Jade when it comes to popularity (especially since they’re limited edition — good luck getting your hands on them!), though at first glance they don’t seem all that exciting. Creative head Peter Philips boasts that the three muted shades are universally flattering for all skin tones, but I’m still not sure that I’ll be jumping through hoops to purchase any of them. The collection includes: Khaki Brun, an earthy gray-brown, Khaki Rose, a muted terra-cotta shade, and Khaki Vert, an army green, which can be worn alone or combined for an upscale camo effect. I’m mostly intrigued by the idea of army green nails, but I’ll likely take the idea and run for it, opting for a more affordable (and easier to obtain) option to test it out!
