It’s not surprising to see British “It” girl and model Daisy Lowe launch her very own fashion line. It was just a month ago when she announced her collaboration with French fashion chain Morgan to launch Oiseau de Nuit (Night Owl) capsule collection. Daisy Lowe now joins the ranks of other designing models- Elle MacPherson, Cindy Crawford and Erin Wasson.
WWD has the first look of Daisy Lowe and her friends modeling some of the pieces from the collection. The Night Owl line features 15 pieces including apparel and accessories from jewelry, evening dresses, high-waisted shorts, footwear and handbags. For the capsule collection, Daisy paid particular attention to creating pieces for women with curves.
“I do have a womanly shape rather than the normal model size, and so, of course, I’m extremely conscious of it,” she said. “I had to make sure that [the clothes were] flattering to that shape.” “I love women with bigger bottoms and larger thighs,” Lowe said in her throaty voice. “I think it’s so sexy.”
The Night Owl collection is slated to launch on November 4th and will range from $30-$440. It will only be available at France stores and online.
