Just yesterday, Target started dropping hints on Twitter about who their next designer collaboration will be and now it’s confirmed that Jason Wu is the next Target designer. The line will be available starting February 5 through March 6, 2012. Prices will be a reasonable starting from $19.99 to $59.99 for apparel and $19.99 to $49.99 for handbags. I’m so looking forward to this new line from Target. It probably wont cause as much of a frenzy like Missoni’s collaboration but that’s okay. I’m just excited that it’s Jason Wu because I love his ladylike designs.
“The exciting thing about this limited edition collection of affordable women’s wear and accessories is that it allows me to reach a wider audience and bring my designs to people who may not have been able to purchase them before,” Wu told WWD. “My collection for Target is chic and wearable. I think women everywhere will enjoy it.”

Now you all may be wondering what his collection will actually look like. I was too until Target posted a photo of a colorful print and sketches. Jason Wu’s current muse for his line- a cat named Milu. Wu told WWD that his collection “features clothes and accessories that are easily convertible from day to evening — sophisticated, feminine dresses, mix-and-match separates and playful accessories all with a bit of charm and dressed-up attitude.”
