Lucia Pieroni, Color Creator for Clé de Peau Beauté, created her own approach to Vera Wang’s Spring 2010 show by developing a boy-like, simple face to each model walking down the runway. The look catered to the collection clothing and bold jewelry.
“I wanted the models to appear cool and very natural, so I created a super sheer base on the face with eye accents only, of taupe and silver.” Lucia says. “I wanted them to look healthy, but a bit supernatural.”
For the face: Lucia began with NEW! Luminizing Enhancer Base ($42) to even out skin tone and create a luminous complexion. Next, she used the Refining Fluid Foundation ($118) for an even, flawless, and radiant finish.
For the brows: Eyebrow pencil in #104/Grey for a fuller and more clean look ($55)
For the eyes: To brighten eyes, Lucia used NEW! Satin Eye Color in #11/Silver ($45), with a touch of #111/taupe to the outer corners for added definition. She also utilized Satin Eye Color in #104/Golden to highlight brow bone and to the top of the cheek to add ethereal glow.
For the lips: Lastly, Lucia used NEW! Extra Rich Lipstick in T4 ($65), a nude shade inspired by tea roses to compliment the face without drawing attention.
Lucia uses products to enhance rather than to conceal and creates breathtaking images, with a 21st century twist! She is well-known in Britain and a favorite amongst renowned photographers such as Glen Luchford, Paola Reversi, Craig McDean, and David Sims. Her talents has shined in several top fashion magazines which solidifies her as one of the premier makeup artist in the world. She became the creator for Clé de Peau Beauté in 2005.
The NEW Clé de Peau Beauté Spring 2010 collection will launch March 2010 at Bergdorf Goodman and select Barney’s, Neiman Marcus and Saks locations nationwide.
