Fashion Minga Event at LA Fashion Week

fashion minga picture LA Fashion Week is just around the corner and though it’s not as big media wise as New York Fashion Week, you still find fabulous events and fashion shows from up and coming designers that is celebrity and media packed.

One fashion show to watch out for is Fashion Minga. It will make its debut for the first time ever during LA Fashion Week and its already creating buzz in the fashion world.

The ever so popular Hollywood club, Boulevard3 will be hosting the Fashion Minga Event on Friday, October 16th 2009 @ 10pm. Fashion Minga is an Ecuadorian term for “a community coming together to work for the benefit of all”. Fashion Minga is a collaboration of designers, performers, and tastemakers uniting to celebrated the various components that inspire fashion: music, dance, color, shape, and visual elements.

Fashion Minga is not your typical “run-of-the-mill” fashion show. It will showcase some of the fashion industries finest such as MTV star Jazmin Whitney from MTV show “House of Jazmin”, Israeli born fashion designer Tal Sheyn (www.designsbytalsheyn.com), and fashion designer, model, author, and wife of NBA Player, Jackie Christie’s line. This is just of taste of what’s to come.

Fashion Minga is also influenced by music, art and dance. It will include performances from Xcedera, Extreme Dance FX, Groovaholix, The Hollywood Hotshots, and more!!!!

Fashion Minga will host a celebrity-packed red carpet and is L.A. Fashion Week’s most prestigious and highly anticipated event, not to be missed!
