Designer: Gwen Stefani for L.A.M.B.

Looks: Vintage, military with 50′s flair. The models put on a tough girl image yet still played off sexy. The collection includes leather leggings, corsets, draped tops, wool trench coats, knee-high stockings, belts over tops, and off the shoulder tops. Gwen also played in the acessories very well with the ankle boots, handbags, and long necklaces with dog tags.

Makeup: Charlotte Tillbury for M.A.C. All makeup was done by MAC Cosmetics to create a bit of edge. Models had smoldering black eyes over their blank, porcelain skin, bright red lipstick, and the cheeks stayed bare to give off the old-Hollywood glamour feel.

Hair: Inspired by the 40′s era, blunt bangs with soft curls to take on a more modern look.

My thoughts: Genius Gwen! My favorite collection at New York Fashion Week thus far. I love the vintage-inspired look. The hair and makeup really helped capture Gwen’s look for this collection.
