Give your manis a pretty in pastel look this spring and summer with the OPI New York City Ballet Collection. OPI has just unveiled its newest 6-piece bridal collection that’s full of sheer pastels and soft nudes. The collection includes a lineup of soft colors inspired by the New York City ballet.

The OPI Artistic Director, Suzi Weiss-Fischman said in a statement,

“NYCB is rich with artistic history and has a renowned reputation that brings people from around the world to see NYCB performances. The dancers, choreography and costumes provided a wealth of inspiration for a range of soft, feminine hues. The beige, pink, and white lacquers bring to mind classic ballet slippers, tutus and leotards, while the sheer lilac and gray add muted color to ballet’s traditional pink.”

The OPI Ballet Collection features 6 gorgeous colors:

  • Barre My Soul- A sheer beige
  • You Callin’ Me a Lyre?- A soft pink
  • Don’t Touch My Tutu!- A sheer white
  • Care to Danse?- A genteel lilac
  • My Pointe Exactly- A sheer gray
  • Pirouette My Whistle- Silver sparkle!

The OPI New York Ballet Collection will be available at select professional salons and specialty stores beginning April 2012. They’ll retail for $8.50 each.

It’s hard enough to find the right pastel nail polish that is compatible with your skin tone, what more when choosing the right ones when you finally find it? These shades are gorgeous! But wait, is it called the Ballet Collection or the Bridal Collection?
