Sleep not only helps us replenish the energy we spent all day but helps us get better skin as well. Every part and every organ in our body requires rest in order to rejuvenate and restore itself. Skin, considered as the body’s largest organ, is often the most neglected. That is why we should be aware of the fact that in order to achieve better skin we need 8 hours or more of sleep.
Skin cells regenerate more rapidly at night than during day. This gives us the chance to help out and enhance skin regeneration by simply following a nightly routine. Here are some secrets to better, healthier skin while at sleeping blissfully.
1. Clean your face before heading to bed.
Remove all traces of cosmetics by remembering to wash your face thoroughly before hitting the hay. Leaving make-up on your face will clog the pores and prevent proper hydration. This will further cause damage to the skin and cause pimples, black heads, spots and blemishes.

My new favorite body scrub is Aveeno new Positively Ageless Warming Scrub. I love the warm feeling it gives my skin while I’m scrubing my back. After the first use, soft and supple skin was the result and I have to say that it was a great experience. It’s a great experience each time I use it. The new Positively Ageless Body Care Line are anti-aging formulas made from a Shitake complex to give you younger-looking skin from head to toe. I have yet to try the other products in the line but so far the warming scrub is fantastic. Your skin will feel pampered after using it.
