For the “best of 2009″, here are my favorite blushes and shades for perfect rosy cheeks. Many of the products shown above are quite popular and can work for any skintone (Ex: Benetint, Smashbox O-glow, Tarte Natural Cheek Stain, and Stila Gel Cheek Color); but, which ones are the best at giving your cheeks a nice glow?
I narrowed down my list to 11 blushes which I believe are the best out there based on my own personal experience.
- Benefit Cosmetics Benetint $28
- Benefit Cosmetics Coralista $28
- MAC Cosmetics Pleasantry $21
- Smashbox O-glow (My Favorite) $26
- Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush $5.99
- Tarte Natural Cheek Stain $30
- Bobbi Brown Blush in Apricot $22
- NARS Blush in Orgasm (Very Popular) $25
- Stila Gel Cheek Color $6.50 (at Beauty Crunch)
- Bare Escentuals bare minerals Blush (Several good ones) $18
- Cargo Blu-Ray High Definition Blush/Highlighter $27
Do you have a favorite blush not mentioned on the list? What’s your favorite blush? Discuss!

A good blush gives a lit-from-within, healthy-looking glow, something we all strive for with our makeup. A bad blush gives a streaky, sparkly, clownish look — not attractive. Luckily, TotalBeauty.com readers have tried tons of blushes, and here we share their favorites. Give them a try, they guarantee you wont look like you’re auditioning for the circus.
