This can especially happen when combined with the dry heat from radiators and furnaces we all love to crank up in the winter.

October is here and autumn is in full swing, and what does that mean? It means colorful leaves, football, pumpkins, Thanksgiving – and colder temperatures. Among other things, the fall is often characterized as a season of frequent temperature changes between indoors and outdoors, and harsher winds. This results in more sensitive skin that can become dry, tight, itchy and irritated. Now is the time to start thinking about preventative measures.
For me, my feet gets cold extremely fast and very dry too. To prevent tight and itchy skin, I lather on a thick creme right before I put on socks. I do this at night as well so when I wake up, my feet are soft and smooth.

Summer is coming to end but I sure did have tons of fun. I did some traveling and went to a couple of weddings. I traveled to San Diego, and Palm Springs (so hot!) but I think my favorite summer trip was driving down to Santa Barbara. One of my coworkers was getting married so my friends and I drove down and had a fabulous time. The wedding was outside and it was such a beautiful ceremony. I knew the weather would be hot so I wore this amazing floral print maxi dress. My shoulders and arms were exposed so I of course had my 
sunscreen to protect my skin. I still managed to get a slight tan though. lol
