Forever Summer Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray

Daylight savings is happening again this weekend. I dread this time of year when the days grow shorter. It is a bit depressing leaving work after it gets dark. Yes, I am in denial that summer is finally over. But to appease the winter blues I turn to my tried and true solution for windswept, beachy, sexy tousled hair, Bumble and Bumble’s Surf Spray. Surf Spray is a styling lotion that adds volume and texture. The easy breezy days of summer sunshine captured in a bottle!

I have straight thick Asian hair that often takes on a life of its own. My shoulder length layered cut looks best with a bit of movement. This stuff really works and adds just the right amount of texture. My hair does not feel heavy or get tangled. One more reason to love Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray, the subtle fragrance doesn’t interfere or overpower my perfume.

To use, spray on freshly washed hair. Work the product through damp or dry hair. Then let it dry naturally or blow-dry with a diffuser. You can also spray, lift and scrunch at the roots. Try to keep your hands off your gorgeous and casually windswept locks, the Surf Spray holds up longer the less you touch it.

L’Oreal Vive Pro Hydra Gloss Moisturizing Shampoo

loreal vive pro hydra gloss moisturizing shampooIs my hair getting the royal treatment? With L’Oreal Vive Pro Hydra Gloss Moisturizing Shampoo($5), it surely is. This is a great shampoo for very dry & damaged hair which is a good time to use for the upcoming winter months. It’s made with the best of nature’s ingredients: royal jelly, olive oil, and omega moisture complex. It gives the hair 7x more moisture with high glossed hair as the finishing touch.

This is one of the best shampoo’s that came from L’Oreal in my opinion. My hair is very dry and damaged since I put a significant amount of heat on my hair and it’s starting to become overly processed everytime I use a perm so this shampoo helps tremendously. I’m also very impressed on how it left my hair shiny, soft and a bit thicker. Extra thickness is always a plus. This formula is very intense so ladies if you have major hair damage, try treating it with L’Oreal Vive Pro Hydra Gloss Moisturizing Shampoo. This shampoo definitely deserves a 5/5.

Check out L’Oreal Vive Pro Hydra Gloss Moisturizing Conditioner. You can find both products at your local drugstore.

Carols Daughter Enhances Beauty and Health in HairDaily hair care is essential which is why I recommend hair products from Carol’s daughter. It has become very popular in reviving hair in just a short amount of time. It’s especially useful for women of color. I personally use their hair products which has brought beauty, health, and shine back to my hair. I’m always going through different products trying to find the best one to cure my dry and damaged hair. I finally found Carol’s daughter and it is a true winner in my eyes. My hair never looked so healthy using this product. My hair can’t live without Lisa’s hair elixir and hair balm. Lisa Hair Elixir is great on damaged hair and prevents breakage. I also enjoy the Tui Hair Oil which gives my hair softness and shine. It has a nice sweet smell too. The Rosemary Mint Herbal Shampoo with Sea Moss really helped with healing my dry, damaged hair along with Black Vanilla leave in conditioner. There are so many other hair products in her line but these 4 are my favorites and has really helped my hair look and feel healthy again. Carol’s daughter is definitely a one of a kind product line. You should also checkout the skincare line too!
