Total Beauty has provided me with another cool beauty product to review from L’Oreal. L’Oreal Paris introduces Telescopic Explosion Mascara. Because Bigger Isn’t Always Better! Is that true? Check out my review!
L’Oreal Telescopic Explosion Mascara Brush claims:
- Spherical multi-angle brush reaches lashes at the roots to provide coverage along the entire lash
- Adapts to every eye shape, grabbing each lash including the hard to reach corner lashes.
- It evenly applies color all over lashes
- Round so it reaches every last lash, root to tip, from every angle
- Small, it reaches even tiny corner and lower lashes
L’Oreal Telescopic Explosion Mascara Formula claims
- Lengthens, thickens and separates every little lash for a fanned-out look
- Formula clings to lashes and instantly lengthen and separate them
- Formula made of a soft-wax system of paraffin, jojoba oil, and palm oil for soft texture and Pro-Vitamin B5 for lash conditioning
- No clumping, Flaking or, Smudging
My thoughts: At first glance, I thought it’s not quite inventive because it looked similar to the popular Givenchy PhenomenEyes Mascara; however, I don’t despise them for that. In a way, it’s very smart for L’Oreal to create a similar mascara that’s budget friendly. Anyway, I was quite pleased with this mascara. The wand is fabulous! It grabbed every lash from root to tip. It lengthened and thickened my lashes, and best of all no flaking, or smudging. L’Oreal Telescopic Explosion Mascara has a very easy application too. Who knew this small, round brush can create beautiful lashes. The only drawbacks I noticed are:
- Lengthen of time for application is longer
- Little bit of clumping after second coat
- Not a good choice for added volume
My rating: I like this mascara so I rate it a 4.0/5!! I would definitely recommend it!

Another mascara to review and this time it’s from L’Oreal. I love trying out different mascaras so let’s see if this mascara is a go!
L’Oreal Extra-Volume Collagen Mascara claims:
- All day wear
- No Clumping
- No Flakes
- No Smudges
- Custom designed brush to grab each and every lash
- Extreme Volume (12x the volume)
My thoughts: It’s a great brush but not spectacular. I do agree that the brush grabs every lash and I like how there wasn’t excess mascara on the brush. I didn’t see any clumps or flakes but little smudging. Now as far as the volume, it didn’t wow me! It claims to have collagen technology to plump lashes up to 12x the natural volume but I definitely didn’t see extreme volume. I loved the packaging however and the price was not bad. It retailed for $6.49 at Target.
My Rating: I give it a 3/5. I wouldn’t recommend it because I know there are much better mascaras out there that will give your lashes that needed volume. I don’t completely dislike it either which is why I still have it. It’s just another average mascara in my eyes.
I was very excited to get my hands on this mascara because I liked the idea of a mascara lengthening your eyelashes by fusing around each eyelash creating tubes. I kept seeing the commercials and I said to myself ” I got to try that!” Well I finally have it and tested it to see if their promises of lengthening lashes with no smudging or flaking are true. L’Oreal Paris Double Extend Mascara makes your lashes longer and healthier using a two-step system and “tube” technology. The first step nourishes and the second lengthens. There is no clumping, smuding, or flaking with easy removal using warm water.
My Review: I went out to a club with this mascara and let me say that it stayed on all night long. I was quite happy with the results it delivered.
- It lenghtened my lashes. No need for fake eyelashes that night!
- It dried pretty fast.
- No flaking, clumping, or smudging.
Drawbacks:
- Application is pretty tedious if in a hurry.
- Didn’t like the removal process. They come out in tubes with the help of warm water. I was pulling on my own eyelashes to remove them. Not fun. My own eyelashes didn’t come out but I did not like that whole pulling feeling.
Overall I give this product a 4/5 because it delivered what it promised and I would consider using this mascara again. I just have to be more gentle with the removal process or try adding more water.
