Beauty News: Max Factor Discontinues Line In U.S.

Sad news for Max Factor in the beauty world. According to P&G, the makeup artist genius will no longer be selling its makeup products in the U.S. starting 2010. Max Factor is not going out a business, they are just focusing more on overseas market since the sales are stronger. Check out the story, for more details.

I’m very saddened by this news since I’ve recently grown to love Max Factor and to now here that it’s leaving the U.S. is a bit overwhelming for me. You will be missed.

Max Factor Must Haves

max factor lip Now this is what I call recession-proof makeup with style. Max Factor’s new Vivid Impact Lip Color makes a bold statement that screams high-fashion makeup. With 20 pure pigmented shades, anyone can draw instant attention to the lips. It’s all about bright hues this summer so definitely take a chance with color. As an African American I tend to stay away from bright colors but after using Max Factor Vivid Impact Lip Color in Rose Rage, not only was I shocked to see how well it looked on me, I no longer have a fear of bright lip colors. I also love the suppleness, creaminess, and the added moisture it gave my lips.

Another great product that I can’t get enough of is Max Factor 2000 max factor 2000 calorie Calorie Extreme Lash Plumper. I haven’t put this mascara down for three weeks now. It’s incredible. Great volume and length with NO CLUMPS! It can be very difficult to find a great mascara at an affordable price that doesn’t clump. It’s also waterproof which I discovered when I was sweating like a pig after leaving the gym.
