OPI’s Touring America collection will launch this fall. This 12-piece collection is inspired by some of America’s most popular cities.
“My recent road trip across the country sparked the creation of the Touring America Collection,” says Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Executive VP & Artistic Director. “This collection will take women around the world on the ultimate tour across the USA, with stops in Baltimore, Clarksdale, Hollywood, Jackson Hole, Memphis, Milwaukee, New Orleans, New York City, Philadelphia, Seattle, St. Louis, and Tucson.”
I love the brights to dark color range like “Are We There Yet? (melon shade) and “Get in the Expresso Lane.” Great shades to satisfy and color craving. The collection will hit beauty salons and stores on August 3rd. Priced at $8.50 each. For more information, visit OPI.com.

in Fall

OPI has drawn inspiration from several European countries in the past as well as India, Hong Kong, and Britain. This fall, its next stop is Swizterland.
“Switzerland provided the inspiration for this season, with a backdrop of snow-peaked mountains, lush glacial valleys, and glittering lakes,” says Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Executive VP & Artistic Director. “With luxurious hues across the color spectrum, the Swiss Collection features jeweled tones from ruby red to shimmering gold and everything in between.”
“The Swiss Collection features the same relaxed luxury that walked the fashion runways, where timeless shades of black, camel and cream were met with a wealth of jeweled emerald, sapphire, and gold,” explains Weiss-Fischmann. “Wearing these colors on fingers and toes will accessorize the season’s must-have pieces – from masculine-inspired tailored jackets contrasted with ultra-feminine dresses to beautiful bohemian garments with toughened touches of leather.”
I’m quite surprised about the number of reds in this collection but overall the collection looks great.
The collection includes 12 cool shades:
- Diva of Geneva
- Lucerne-tainly looks Marvelous
- Glitzerland
- Yodel Me on My Cell
- The Color to Watch
- Cucoo For This Color
- I’m Suzi & I’m a Chocoholic
- From A to Z-urich
- Color So Hot It Berns
- Just a Little Rosti at This Time
- William Tell Me About OPI
- Ski Teal We Drop

OPI has released the new Suede Nail Polish Collection for Fall 2009 that features the look of suede in six of its best-selling colors. Using matte + shimmer combination, the Suede collection is available in six iconic shades:
- Russian Navy
- You Don’t Know Jacques!
- Lincoln Park After Dark
- Suzi Skis in the Pyrenees
- OPI Ink
- We’ll Always Have Paris
OPI recommends not to use any base coat, top coat, drying drops or hand creams when wearing these nail polishes just like in the Matte Collection.
“Suede by OPI elevates nails to a new dimension of fashion, as exciting as a pair of stiletto-heeled suede pumps,” says Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Executive VP & Artistic Director. “The rich suede look is a stunning complement to fall fashions, and is meant for the woman who is confident about her style and wants to stand out. Suede by OPI does not wear as long as original OPI Nail Lacquer – but it is a totally original look you’ll want to own this season!”
The shades resembles the look of fall fashion so I’m very excited to try the collection.
