With much anticipation for the release of SATC 2 next year, the first official promo poster has already cause a lot of buzz but not in a positive way. It appears that the new promo poster is not appealing and possibly too “Photoshopped”? The overly airbrushed picture of Sarah Jessica Parker aka “Carrie Bradshaw” in a white dress with aviator sunglasses not to mention the big sparkling “2″ in the background is surely not impressive. I think it’s a bit over the top and sort of futuristic.

Sex and the City 2 is scheduled to hit theaters in May 2010 and for SATC2 fans, good news awaits because author Candace Bushnell is releasing the new book “The Carrie Diaries”, a teen prequel to the infamous show. The book discusses Carrie’s early relationships and how she got into writing. It will also focus on Carrie’s first love while the Louis Vuitton-inspired book cover references an incident between her and her mother. Hmmm…..Interesting!!
I can’t wait to read up on Carrie Bradshaw during her highschool days!
“The Carrie Diaries” will be published April 27, 2010!
