Jimmy Choo and Elton John AIDS Foundation are helping to raise awareness and funds for AIDS victims by launching Project PEP Collection. This collection will help support funding of the Simelela Rape Centre in South Africa and 25% of the sales will be donated to provide HIV-preventive treatment PEP ( treatment that should be taken within 72 hours of exposure to HIV) and counselling victims of rape in South Africa, which happens to have the highest count of rape in the world.
To help support this cause, Jimmy Choo has created a site Jimmy Choo 72 specifically for this project. Jimmy Choo is also holding a themed photo competition called You, Your Shoes and 72. This photo competition is a social networking concept to generate awareness of the vital 72 hour window.
The winners of this competition will be announced after December 7th. The Grand Prize is the ultimate Jimmy Choo VIP Experience. The winner will be invited to spend a day of luxury at Jimmy Choo’s headquarters and choose 7 pairs of shoes and 2 handbags to keep. Now that’s one fantastic prize! Plus Jimmy Choo will also award over 100 exclusive prizes.
Support AIDS Awareness by entering this fun photo competition! You’ll be helping the cause.
