Yesterday, Jean Paul Gaultier for Target camera phone photos were leaked but the blurriness didn’t give us a satisfied look at the collection. Thanks to Refinery 29, we now have the first look of Jean Paul Gaultier’s Target Look Book with clear photos. The collection features a range of floral printed dresses and A-line skirts, bold colors, pin stripes, and “tattoo-printed” pieces. Honestly, the collection is not consistent. The looks initially comes off sexy, stylish and sweet and then the tattoo prints. I just don’t get the tattoo prints! Anyway, there are still a few of his pieces that are still loveable like the leather jacket and floral pieces.
The collection will hit Target stores and online March 7th!

Zac Posen’s first look for Target is finally revealed and I must say that I am truly impressed and excited. The lookbook features a wide range of colors and printed dresses, one-piece swimsuits and a gown which is a first for Target. Just from looking at the photos, you can tell that the collection has been touched by the 80’s. The collection is designed for women who likes to dress up and feel sexy. Unfortunately the collection is not available for purchase until April 25th so until then, just marvel at Posen’s stylish collection.
Below are a few of his pieces from the Zac Posen for Target collection. For the full collection, head over to Fashionista.com.

High-end fashion line Rodarte will soon release it’s collection for Target just in time for the holidays. Anna Sui and Alexander McQueen has already taken part in this Target collaboration while Jean Paul Gaultier and Zac Posen anticipated collection for Target Go International will launch next year. In this line, you’ll see a mix of hard and edgy pieces as well as pieces that are soft and feminine. I love the leopard and x-ray prints, the tulle dresses, and the high-waisted lace tights in this collection. The line is affordable with pieces retailing from $9.99 – $79.99. Rodarte for Target will be in stores and online starting December 20th to January 31st.

Zac Posen is the next designer to jump on the Target collaboration train. Just like Thakoon and Rodarte Capsule Collection which is set to launch December 20th, Zac Posen will design a collection for Target Go International that’s set to launch next spring. The designer is definitely letting customers get a piece of him that’s at a more affordable price. Let’s not forget his new budget-friendly line Z-Spoke that will launch next spring too.
The Target collaboration has already seen designer collections of Anna Sui and Alexander McQueen.
His Go International Collection will be available for a limited time at most Target stores and at Target.com from April 25, 2010 until May 30, 2010.

Gossip Girl fans! Want to dress like your favorite female character on Gossip Girl? Does your style reflect the personalities of Serena or maybe Blair?
Anna Sui is creating a new Gossip-Girl inspired collection for Target coming this fall in September. The line is inspired by the four main female characters on the show and will be available starting September 13 to October 17th. Now there has been a lot of buzz about this collection and recently there’s been rumors circulating that Target wants to get rid of the Gossip Girl theme because they feel the show is too “promiscuous” to associate with the Target name.
But rest assured this is probably not true and according to Hollywood Crush, a Target spokesperson told them that the claims are false. “That article is a fabrication,” the Target spokesperson said. “The collection is moving forward as always intended. We’re continuing to work with The CW and ‘Gossip Girl,’ and the four main characters will continue to serve as the muses for the Anna Sui for Target collection.” The Target spokesperson also mentioned, “Target will be sponsoring the season premiere of the show, and the official Anna Sui for Target commercial will make its debut during that same hour.”
That’s refreshing to hear because I know there are several young ladies that adores the show and love the characters sense of style. It’s a great opportunity for them to dress like their favorite characters.
There are 19 looks in this collection and each look is inspired by one of the 4 main characters. (Serena, Blair, Jenny, and Vanessa) Stop by College Fashion to get a sneak peek at all 19 looks from Anna Sui’s Gossip Girl themed collection.
