Oh how I adore fashion collaborations! I loved the Missoni for Target, Versace for H&M, and I’ll pretty sure I’ll adore Jason Wu’s upcoming line with Target. The Jason Wu for Target collaboration is now only a month away and with the release of his print campaign, we now have a first look at what’s to come from his Target line. Jason Wu signature lady-like style is beloved by Hollywood starlets and First Lady Michelle Obama, so it’s no surprise to see that same femme vibe in this collection. Judging by the models featured in the campaign, expect dresses with peter pan collars, pastel tones, colorful accents, ladylike handbags, and knits.
Just yesterday, Target started dropping hints on Twitter about who their next designer collaboration will be and now it’s confirmed that Jason Wu is the next Target designer. The line will be available starting February 5 through March 6, 2012. Prices will be a reasonable starting from $19.99 to $59.99 for apparel and $19.99 to $49.99 for handbags. I’m so looking forward to this new line from Target. It probably wont cause as much of a frenzy like Missoni’s collaboration but that’s okay. I’m just excited that it’s Jason Wu because I love his ladylike designs.
“The exciting thing about this limited edition collection of affordable women’s wear and accessories is that it allows me to reach a wider audience and bring my designs to people who may not have been able to purchase them before,” Wu told WWD. “My collection for Target is chic and wearable. I think women everywhere will enjoy it.”
Peep out his spring 2012 collection!
Now you all may be wondering what his collection will actually look like. I was too until Target posted a photo of a colorful print and sketches. Jason Wu’s current muse for his line- a cat named Milu. Wu told WWDthat his collection “features clothes and accessories that are easily convertible from day to evening — sophisticated, feminine dresses, mix-and-match separates and playful accessories all with a bit of charm and dressed-up attitude.”

Sounds exciting! More Jason Wu and Target news to come so I’ll keep everyone posted!
The Missoni for Target collection has finally released today! The 132-piece collection is currently available online. With every Target collaboration, certain pieces sell out very quick and this morning I found out that the site crashed due to the Missoni mayhem. As soon as the Target site is up and running again, hurry and grab your favorite items before they’re all gone. Go shop til ya drop!
Missoni will be making its debut at Target stores this upcoming fall. The Missoni for Target collection will include over 400 pieces of men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing. Home decor, dinnerware, and bedding will also be part of this collection too. Racked is reporting the collection will range from $2.99 to $599.99 but most pieces will be under $40.
Missoni for Target Collection will hit Target stores September 13, 2011.
What do you think of Target’s collaboration with Missoni? Tell me your thoughts!
I’m a firm believer that there is nothing better than designer clothing you can actually afford. For the past five years, Target’s Go! International collections have made many dreams come true, bridging the gap between affordability and designer fashion. They’ve collaborated with many designers over the last five years, and in celebration they’re releasing a 34-piece collection featuring dresses from 17 of their favorite designers! Yes, they’re giving you another chance to snatch up something you missed the first time around (or the second if you didn’t want to pay inflated eBay prices).
I’ve been waiting for the full William Rast for Target lookbook to come out and now it’s finally here. I saw a few looks from this collection a couple of months back and I was excited then as I am now. In just a few weeks, William Rast for Target collection will soon make its debut at Target stores nationwide and online at Target.com. The collection features plenty of denim, outerwear, leather jackets, and more.
Styles from the exclusive line include skinny, bootcut and straight-leg, all with premium fit, wash and detailing. In addition, the collection features utilitarian and plaid woven shirts, along with motorcycle jackets, leggings and skirts. The men’s collection embodies a rugged style, while the women’s collection blends tomboy fashion with feminine tailoring.
The collection ranges from $16.99 to $199.99 and will be in stores from December 19, 2010 to January 22, 2011.
