For the Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn premiere, Fekkai Celebrity Stylist, Adir Abergel created a textured updo for Kristen Stewart. Her hairstyle was one of my favorite looks that I so badly wanted to copy. Thanks to Fekkai, now everyone can learn how to recreate this look.

Here’s how to recreate Kristen Stewart’s Updo!

INSPIRATION: An edgy, yet romantic look. Adir was inspired to create an up-do that still felt like Kristen’s usual tousled and textured style with a touch of rockability.

 How To Get the Look:

1. Adir began by applying Fekkai Bouffant Lifting and Texturizing Spray Gel to the roots of the hair to build texture.

2. Next apply Fekkai Oceanique Tousled Wave Spray throughout the rest of the hair and rough dried it to create a beachy and textured base for the up-do.

3. Adir then took random pieces and created standard braids, fishtail braids and twists throughout the hair in various sizes, leaving the very top of the hair loose.

4. He then took all of the hair except for the loose hair at the top, and knotted and twisted it to create an up-do. He used hairpins to create a very undone look.

5. To finalize Kristen Stewart’s Updo, Adir backcombed the front of the hair to add volume, then pushed it back and pinned it in place.

6. He secured the look by spraying the hair with Fekkai Sheer Hold Hairspray.

All products used are by Fekkai: Fekkai Bouffant Lifting and Texturizing Spray Gel ($25), Fekkai Oceanique Tousled Wave Spray ($24), and Fekkai Sheer Hold Hair Spray($21).

Celebs at the Golden Globes had such gorgeous hairstyles and one of my favorite celebs to watch that night was Tina Fey. Best Actress nominee and presenter Tina Fey was stunning at last night’s Golden Globe Awards in a navy L’Wren Scott gown and a chic updo. The velvet column dress and curly chignon channeled elegant, old Hollywood glamour. We got the red carpet secrets to achieve this gorgeous glam look straight from her stylist, Remington’s Richard Marin:

1)       Apply a texturizer or curl enhancing mousse to wet hair and blow dry using the diffuser attachment to create frizz-free curls and waves (Try the Remington T-Studio Pearl Ceramic Dryer with exclusive pearl technology for extra shine!)

2)       Use a small barrel iron – Marin recommends the Remington Style ¾ inch curling iron – to curl random sections of hair

3)       Shake hair several times (do NOT brush!) and mist hairspray throughout

4)       Pull hair into a loose low ponytail and twist into a loose bun at the neckline. Secure with bobby pins, spritz shine spray and you’re ready for your close-up!

I have to say this is Tina at her best. This do’ looks perfect on her and she looked absolutely amazing at the Golden Globes. I love it when celebrities wear their hair up because up hairstyles can show off their gorgeous dresses, makeup, and face bone structure. She definitely brought the Old Hollywood Glamour back tonight.

Thank you Richard Martin for breaking down this lovely hairstyle. At first glance, it seems a bit complicated but after reading the step-by-step process, it’s actually not as difficult. When I get the chance, I’ll try and replicate this hairstyle. Hopefully this hairstyle will look just as great on me as it does on her.

So many gorgeous dresses, makeup, and hairstyles at the Golden Globes but share with me your thoughts.

Are you loving this hair look on Tina Fey?
