These days it seems Nicole Richie is constantly busy. She created a jewelry line (House of Harlow 1960) and a maternity line (A Pea in the Pod) so it was only a matter of time to see her design a contemporary line. Nicole Richie has a great sense of style so I’m super excited about this new line.
Her new collection Winter Kate, which just happens to be Harlow’s middle name, is a 37-piece collection inspired by peacocks and other exotic birds. It includes tops, vests, bed jackets, and mini, long slip-style, and kimono-sleeve maxis dresses.
“Fashion should be accessible. That was my philosophy when designing House of Harlow 1960 and it remains my philosophy for Winter Kate,” Nicole said. Her collection will retail for $35 and up to $598 for leather pieces.
Watch out for the launch of the Winter Kate collection in February 2010 at stores like Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Intermix, Bloomingdales, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Kitson.
Nicole Richie is definitely stepping up her game and expanding her fashion empire. What do you think?
