Zac Posen’s first look for Target is finally revealed and I must say that I am truly impressed and excited. The lookbook features a wide range of colors and printed dresses, one-piece swimsuits and a gown which is a first for Target. Just from looking at the photos, you can tell that the collection has been touched by the 80’s. The collection is designed for women who likes to dress up and feel sexy. Unfortunately the collection is not available for purchase until April 25th so until then, just marvel at Posen’s stylish collection.
Below are a few of his pieces from the Zac Posen for Target collection. For the full collection, head over to Fashionista.com.

High-end fashion line Rodarte will soon release it’s collection for Target just in time for the holidays. Anna Sui and Alexander McQueen has already taken part in this Target collaboration while Jean Paul Gaultier and Zac Posen anticipated collection for Target Go International will launch next year. In this line, you’ll see a mix of hard and edgy pieces as well as pieces that are soft and feminine. I love the leopard and x-ray prints, the tulle dresses, and the high-waisted lace tights in this collection. The line is affordable with pieces retailing from $9.99 – $79.99. Rodarte for Target will be in stores and online starting December 20th to January 31st.

Zac Posen is the next designer to jump on the Target collaboration train. Just like Thakoon and Rodarte Capsule Collection which is set to launch December 20th, Zac Posen will design a collection for Target Go International that’s set to launch next spring. The designer is definitely letting customers get a piece of him that’s at a more affordable price. Let’s not forget his new budget-friendly line Z-Spoke that will launch next spring too.
The Target collaboration has already seen designer collections of Anna Sui and Alexander McQueen.
His Go International Collection will be available for a limited time at most Target stores and at Target.com from April 25, 2010 until May 30, 2010.

Zac Posen is stepping into a new venture. He is launching Z Spoke, a lower-priced line that will be sold exclusively at Saks Fifth Avenue in Spring 2010. The American designer has a new endeavour? Aaah Yes…. Sportswear that is!! The 60 piece collection will be largely made up of separate pieces such as cotton shirts, knitwear, and pleated khaki shorts which he describes as “minimalist and utilitarian.”
“We’ve had so much pressure from press and retailers to build out our collection into this more American sportswear look in our top line,” Posen tells WWD. “To me, it’s more appropriate to build a whole brand and collection around this price point. Chic sportswear should be at this price point.” Speaking of price point, cotton Tshirts will start at $78 where as a knit dress can reach anywhere to $675.
I’m a fan of Zac Posen’s gorgeous Eveningwear so I’m excited to see his new Sportswear capsule collection next spring.
What are your thoughts on the new Z-Spoke line?
