Last week, you saw the video of H&M Spring/Summer 2011 lookbook and now you can see pics of the collection here. For this collection, the focus is on the 60’s and 70’s era with bright colors and elements that are short and sharp along with romantic elements that are long and elegant. The collection takes on a more modern twist adding hot trends for the season.
“It’s great to reinvent your wardrobe at the beginning of a new season. Fashion doesn’t change as drastically as it used to so you could easily get last season’s favourites to work with smart updates. Safe buys for spring are cool classics in beige or white, and the longer skirts and dresses feel new and very feminine”, says H&M’s head of design Ann-Sofie Johansson.
The collection key items are maxi dresses, jersey tops, and blazer jackets in all different shapes and styles. As for patterns and prints, expect animal print, florals, and graphic prints.
Here are a few looks from the collection. For the full collection check it out here.
