7 Tasty Holiday Treats That’ll Drive Your Taste Buds Wild

To kick-off the winter season, I thought I share with you some of my favorite tasty holiday treats. I try not to indulge on a lot of sugary sweets during the holidays but you will find me enjoying these holiday goodies.

1. Red Velvet Brownies

I love brownies and anything red velvet!  These red velvet brownies are such an irresistible combination. Here’s the recipe.

2. Turtle Cheesecake

This is one dessert that goes fast at my house, so I always save myself a piece. Try your hand at homemade cheesecake with this tasty recipe.

3. Mocha Mint Espresso

Whenever I’m in the West Hollywood area, I always stop by Urth Caffe. Their Mocha Mint espresso and Spanish latte’s are amazing. I’d drink one every day if I could. Try recreating this homemade recipe.


4. Gingerbread Cookies

Nothing says the holidays like homemade gingerbread cookies! It’s a staple in our house. Here’s the recipe.

5. Chocolate Peppermint Bark

This is by far one of my favorite tasty holiday treats I enjoy eating. I found a great recipe on the net, but if you’d rather buy one that’s still handmade and full of  flavor, I would check out this Peppermint Mark by this Etsy Seller, SoCozyCreations. It’s soooo goood!

6. Candy Cane Kiss Cookies

Normally, I would prepare these cookies with milk chocolate, but I switched it out with the Candy Cane Kisses to make it more festive. They just melt in your mouth. Here’s the recipe!

7. Bourbon Peppermint Hot Chocolate

Here’s a holiday, grown up spin on this classic favorite- a boozy peppermint hot chocolate. I love curling up in bed under a warm blanket and sipping on it while watching holiday movies on tv. Here’s the recipe!
