We’ve all heard that we need to drink at least eight glasses of water a day. A daily dose of hydration is essential for overall good health but how often do you hear yourself saying, “I need to drink more water, but plain water is just so boring!” The easiest method I’ve found to make plain water taste better is by infusing it with fruits. Fruits are an important part of a healthy diet as well so now you can enjoy both by creating your own unique fruit infused thirst-quenching water beverage.

In addition to water’s ability to hydrate, fruit infused water can also be meant to soothe and relax, energize and digestion, or even help with boosting metabolism and weight loss with the addition of herbs, spices, and even essential oils! Below are three fruit infused water recipes that can help with each:

1. For Digestion or to Energize

Add: ginger, cinnamon, fennel, cardamom, dill, cumin, caraway, or mint.

As much as I love drinking my fruit infused water at home, sometimes I want to enjoy it while I’m on the go. I bought this flavor infusion bottle over the summer and now I drink a fruit infused beverage all day everyday. I just toss the bottle in my bag when I’m heading to the gym, a yoga class, or office. I chose this Savvy Infusion water bottle because it’s:
