1. Local Charity Thrift Stores

A quick google search can pull up any local charity thrift shops that will be more than happy to take donations of items you no longer want or need that are still in good condition.

2. Habitat for Humanity

Home improvement items from cabinets and fixtures to painting all are all accepted by Habitat for Humanity ReStore where they sell home improvement items that are donated to help fund Habitat for Humanity projects across the nation. If you have furniture to get rid of this is a great place to donate to. They will even pick it up.

3. AMVETS

AMVETS National Service Foundation takes furniture, appliances, clothing, toys, and other household items. Their mission is to help military veterans and their families. Pickup Please will pick up your donations to donate to Vietnam Veterans of America.

4. The Salvation Army

The Salvation Army is one of the larger known thrift stores that take donations to help the needy. The Salvation Army uses funds earned from donations to run food banks, shelters, and soup kitchens to help the homeless and needy.
