Big news from Avon’s Mark line. Ashley Greene is now the new spokesperson for Mark Cosmetics. Ashley will replace Lauren Conrad, whose contract just ended. Ashley first learned about the brand through finding Mark products in a swag bag.
“Initially, I was drawn to Mark because of the products, ” she told WWD. “But what really sealed the deal was its empowering message to young women, which is something I relate to.”
“Mark has been on my radar not only because of their great fashion and beauty products, but because the brand inspires young women to feel beautiful inside and out. Through this partnership, I’m looking forward to empowering young women to feel confident, pursue their dreams and make their mark in the world, just like I’m making mine, ” said Greene.
What caught Mark’s attention about Greene was her charity work for empowering young women through organizations like DonateMyDress.org which encourages young girls to donate their old dresses to others who can’t afford to buy gowns for monumental events such as proms and sweet sixteens.
Fashion photographer, Patrick Dermarchelier will shoot the Twilight star beauty for online and print advertising that will debut this fall.
