Sharing is caring!

Marc Jacobs

DESIGNER: Marc Jacobs

INSPIRATION: A collection that’s strict and severe; ’40s style meets the future

TOP LOOKS: polka dots pieces, fitted silhouettes, fake crocodile skirts, rubber to look like sequin dresses, rubber trousers, ’40’s style pencil skirts, latex and lace

TOP COLORS: red, blue, white, teal, black, brown

ACCESSORIES: polka-dot nylons and gloves, suede gym bags, square purses, brogues, black berets, chin straps made of cashmere, wedged rubber snow boots

MY THOUGHTS: Another fabulous unique design aesthetic from Mr. Jacobs. He outdoes himself time and time again. Lots of wearable pieces!

Carolina Herrera

DESIGNER: Carolina Herrera

INSPIRATION: The inspiration is the real women who are going to wear these clothes!

TOP LOOKS:  ombre tops, black and turquoise gowns, knee-length wool skirt, hourglass silhouettes with face framing collars

TOP COLORS: Orange, turquoise, crimson red, gray, black.

ACCESSORIES: gauntlet gloves, embroidered belts,

MY THOUGHTS: I love that this collection gave a variety of looks that real women can easily wear. The ladylike dresses were simply divine.
