Who can resist the pretty appeal of pastels, especially during the spring time? This year’s hottest spring trends are pastels and there are so many different ways to wear them. You can mix it up with something you already have or go all out with a head to toe look.
After reading this post, you’ll find it super easy to incorporate pastels into your existing spring wardrobe.
Go All Out
Double up on the pastels by pairing one pastel hue with another preferably a pretty print or tie-dye like the frayed hem shorts above.
Pretty pastel lips have popped on a number of spring 2016 runway shows like Michael Costello and Jeremy Scott. Even celebs like Hayden Panettiere and Kate Mara have been spotted wearing this trend. Check out the pastel shades from the Lime Crime Lipstick collection or try my fav picks below.
The look backstage at shows like Jenny Packham, Alexis Mabille, and Diane von Furstenberg featured a pop of color with a pretty pastel hue or a complete tropical look similar to above. Give your eye look a dreamy, sparkling touch with pastels.
Mix it Up
One way to introduce pastels is to mix it up. Pastels go great with neutrals like this white top with a lavender skirt (similar here) or opt for a more color blocked look by pairing a bright neon top with pale mint jeans.

Edge it up
If you like the idea of pastels but don’t necessarily want to wear them, incorporate them into your look by adding accessories. Chic add-ons like metallic mesh, studs, and sparkles are a great way to edge up your look. You can also try a pretty pastel necklace or chic sunnies.
However you decide to incorporate pastels this spring, remember that the possibilities are endless.
How do you plan on wearing pastels this season?
