Summer is soon coming to an end which means fall’s arrival is approaching. It’s my second favorite season because…you guessed it – all the fashions! Fall 2015 brings a Victorian and Bohemian feel of this particular era while letting us enjoy fringe and plaid designs for yet another season.

Designers had an eclectic mix of boho looks from long-sleeved dresses to floral prints layered atop more floral prints.

2. Capes

Looks like designers put their own spin on the cape trend so there’s many to choose from.

3. Windowpane

The black and white windowpane has such a classic and sophisticated look to it. It’s been placed on everything from trench coats to evening gowns.

4. Wes Anderson Style

Designers like Gucci and Etro seemed to have a Wes Anderson heroine or two in mind when designing their ready to wear collection. Think Margot Tenenbaum from The Royal Tenenbaums and Suzy Bishop from Moonrise Kingdom.

5. Victorian

This season, designers went back centuries for inspiration. High neck blouses, ruffles, lace, bright colors, and leather details were especially popular.

6. Car Wash Skirts

The new way to show off your pleats this fall. Think of it as a more polished fringe look.

7. Red Plaid

Is never odd to see plaid on the fall/winter runways but red plaid is definitely having its moment.

8. The Pussy Bow

This skinny scarf can work just about anywhere like work attire for the office or a full-on gown for a charity event.

9. Patchwork

With so many colors and shades to choose from, several designers opted to create an ultimate style mashup of bold colors, textures, and cool prints.

1o. Mod Squad

The ’60’s mod revival is all about bold prints, bright colors, and showing some leg.

11. Into the Gray

Monocromatic in gray is the chicest thing you can do this season.

12. Fur Collars

Fur was everywhere this season but one of the most popular trends was an adornment around the neck.

13. Fringe Obsessed

Fringe has been trending for the past several seasons but it came back in a big way this time. Over 100 designers used fringe in some way this season.

14. Earthy Tones

This season’s color trends revolves around natural, earthy tones. Colors like brown, olive green, and burnt orange were popular in the ’70’s.

15. Duster Coats

Coats hit the floor yet again this season coming in every color, shape, and style.

16. Culottes

The very ’70’s wide-leg cropped pants ruled the runways yet again and it will be the perfect pair of pants to show off a new pair of boots.
