5 Ways to Wear Pantone’s 2017 Color of The Year

Sharing is caring!

It’s 2017 which means Pantone has announced the go-to shade for the new year. The trend forecasters have declared “Greenery” as 2017’s Color of The Year. Initially, I was quite shocked to see that they chose a spring shade, but also super happy because green is one of my favorite colors.

Greenery is described as:

a fresh and zesty yellow-green shade evokes the first days of spring when nature’s greens revive, restore and renew.

Greenery is also a symbolic color selection. Here’s a quote from Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute:

Greenery bursts forth in 2017 to provide us with the reassurance we yearn for amid a tumultuous social and political environment. Satisfying our growing desire to rejuvenate and revitalize, Greenery symbolizes the reconnection we seek with nature, one another and a larger purpose.

It’s a shade of green that I’ve hardly seen in the stores for the past few years so I’m excited to see how this versatile “trans-seasonal” shade will be used in the beauty, fashion, and interior design industries. If you’re looking forward to reconnecting with nature in 2017, then keep scrolling as you’ll see several ways to style this gorgeous green shade.
