I know we’re still months away from the warmer months but that hasn’t stopped me from dreaming of wearing bright, colorful outfits under the clear, sunny skies and after looking at Pantone’s color report for spring/summer 2016, it’s all I can think of now. Throughout the year, Pantone releases the top spring colors of the seasons and for spring and summer, the vibrant color palette combined with calming, classic tones has me really excited!
According to Pantone, the spring/summer 2016 color report is a transporting and transformative canvas influenced by the world of art, new global doors opening and the desire to disconnect from technology and unwind.
“Colors this season transport us to a happier, sunnier place where we feel free to express a wittier version of our real selves, ” said Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute. “With our culture still surrounded by so much uncertainty, we are continuing to yearn for those softer shades that offer a sense of calm and relaxation.”
