Topshop Fall/Winter 2010 pieces are as usual, separated into four collections named Out of The Wild, Dark Nouveau, Hi Performance and The Outsiders. Each collection has finally been unveiled each one touching on the wild country theme seen down the fall 2010 runway show. There are so many pieces from these collections that I love. Even though summer just arrived, I seriously just can’t wait till fall! The lookbook was shot by French photographer, Franck Sauvaire and styled by Dazed & Confused’s Katie Shillingford.
- Out of Wild Collection: Themed wild warrior girl in post-apocalytic world “where fashion survivors battle the elements.” Expect sheer, mushroom colors, lots of shearling, dresses with taupe ruffles, chunky knit sweaters, leather studded vests, ragged denim, tights with animal markings, and accessories which include feather handbags, and fringed scarves.
- Dark Nouveau Collection: Dark but sexy collection with “sinister fairytales of the art nouveau movement.” This collection is reminiscent of the dark ages and focuses on lots of embellishments over color. Lots of lace and tulle, studded corsets, harnessed skirts, dresses trimmed in lace, sequins sweaters, and more.
- The Outsiders Collection: It features “the best of Britain’s heritage pieces and deconstructs them to create a modern feel.” The main focus in this collection is outerwear from tweed and plaid capes, buckled jackets, and blazers. Leather coats are lined with sheepskin while the sweaters and cardigans are made in neutral, country side shades.
- The Hi Performance Collection: The collection features athletic wear for the colder months. Cropped tees that are tied at the waist, bustier tops, gray jersey shorts, and footwear collection as well- high-top sneakers, and strappy heels in two-tones.
Topshop will be rolling out this collection in late July retailing between $30 to $2500.
