Lanvin for H&M Its CONFIRMED!

Yesterday, there was a rumor going around that H&M’s next designer collaboration is with Lanvin. Well guess no more because the rumor is true! The Lanvin for H&M collection will be designed by Lanvin’s Artistic Director Alber Elbaz and menswear designer Lucas Ossendrijver. The collection is slated to hit over 200 H&M stores on November 23rd. Oh wow..that’s just a few months away. I’m so excited!

Also, a reveal of the womenswear and menswear collection is scheduled for November 2nd, just three weeks before the collection launches. This is one designer collaboration I am looking forward too. I can’t wait!

“H&M approached us to collaborate, and see if we could translate the dream we created at Lanvin to a wider audience, not just a dress for less. I have said in the past that I would never do a mass-market collection, but what intrigued me was the idea of H&M going luxury rather than Lanvin going public. This has been an exceptional exercise, where two companies at opposite poles can work together because we share the same philosophy of bringing joy and beauty to men and women around the world.” Alber Elbaz, artistic director of Lanvin.

“We are thrilled about Lanvin’s collection for H&M, it is such an exciting moment. Lanvin will bring to H&M a luxurious French tradition that is also modern and playful. It is very much a Lanvin collection, using their cut and tailoring, with lots of focus on form and details for both women and men. The launch in November is going to be full of wonderful surprises.” Margareta van den Bosch, creative advisor at H&M.

The Romatics Cast Models for J.Crew

The Romatics Cast Models for J.Crew

The cast of the upcoming film The Romantics are J.Crew models. This glamorous cast- Katie Holmes, Adam Brody, Josh Duhamel, Malin Akerman, Rebecca Lawrence, and Jeremy Strong came together to model J.Crew’s limited-edition collection. J.Crew actually provided most of the looks for the film so it only make sense for the cast to model them. So far I’m loving Katie Homes beaded peach dress and the sequined dress and skirts worn by Rebecca Lawrence and Malin Akerman. The cast looks like they’re having a lot of fun. J.Crew Limited Edition collection for fall is now in stores and available online.
