Spring is here! It’s time to trade in your sweaters and tights for flowy dresses and cute bathing suits. As the season changes, so does my beauty routine and now that the weather will be showing a little more sun, I gotta get my skin spring ready in the easiest and most affordable way possible.
One of the key steps in my beauty routine is having hair-free skin with the help of my Schick Hydro® razor. Now, I know what you might be thinking…”Isn’t Schick Hydro® a man’s razor?” Well…yes. It is and I have no shame in using it. In fact, I sometimes prefer it since the typical man’s razor has more blades and is better at handling curves which is perfect for getting around the ankles and knees.
When I’m getting ready to go on a date and I need a quick touch up, most of the time I reach for the Schick Hydro® razor because I know it will give me a close, smooth shave without the nicks and cuts. I don’t have time for that!
I’ve been using Schick Hydro® for years so I was excited to see that these razors have been updated to be even better!
The new Schick Hydro® 5 has a new and improved design with:
- Improved Glide: 80% more lubricant surface area for gel extrusion with new recessed micro-slits
- Improved Safety: reduced blade spans minimize skin bulge between blades. Hydro gel now moisturizes your skin for up to 2 hours after your shave
- Improved Comfort: hydrating gel reservoir reduces friction by 40% vs. lube strips. New larger guard bar design for increased skin stretch
It truly is designed like no other razor to protect from irritation and when combined with the Edge Shave Gel, the blade just glides over my skin. I like it a lot and I can definitely see and feel the difference. The razor also comes in Schick Hydro® 5 Sensitive razor as well as the refill cartridges and Edge Shave Gel products to get the smoothest, closest shave possible.
You can find Schick Hydro® 5 razor at your local Meijer!
