While we’re freezing our butts off this cold season, brands are launching their spring  2012 lookbooks and I must say it’s pretty hard to be thinking about spring attire, when staying warm in cozy sweaters and jackets is on my mind 24/7. I sure don’t enjoy this time of the year, so it’s refreshing to see covetable sunny-weather ensembles that will most likely end up in my closet three months from now.

H&M Spring 2012 lookbook is just another reminder of how close yet so far away we are from the spring season. Model Liya Kebede warms up the sandy shots in this H&M lookbook and I can’t help but feel green with envy.  H&M takes us to the tropics with the latest launch of spring 2012 collection titled, “Wake Up to Spring.”

H&M presents us with classic stripes, bright solids, floral blouses, wide leg trousers,  silky tops, and more lovely 70-inspired pieces.

Here’s an early sneak peek of the H&M spring 2012 collection!

Guest post from my friends over at College Candy!

As it’s creeping closer and closer to December, I’ve started dreaming of holiday parties. I just love gathering with friends and family over Christmas, especially when there are some drinks and dancing involved. Something about this season makes garish things totally acceptable: giant headbands, adorned sweaters and loads of sequins. I don’t have any sequined pieces in my wardrobe, but may soon because I’ve found the Jack Wills Hadlow Vest!

See how to make this flashy piece work for day-to-day!

mango spring 2012 collection

We’re still months away from the warm season, but there’s no reason why we can’t start planning are spring wardrobe now. Us fashionistas can get an early start by drawing inspiration from Mango Spring 2012 lookbook. The lookbook features model Anna Selezneva taking the city streets wearing a casual array of chic sweaters, pleated dresses, denim, biker jackets, blazers, vests, jumpsuits, loose t-shirts, and more.

Make a fashion statement with the right accessories! In this Mango Collection for 2012, Anna is accessorized with bold, rocker-chic jewelry. A girl can never have too many accessories!

The beachy pastels makes us dream of warmer days and if you’re a minimalist at heart, you’ll undoubtedly find chic and stylish pieces to add to you spring wardrobe.

My style is totally laid-back so, there’s definitely several lust-worthy pieces that I can wear during the day or at night.

h&m spring 2012 collection

I know you’re probably thinking it’s too soon to start lusting over Spring 2012 fashion with Winter on the way, but this new H&M collection is surely the exception. H&M Spring 2012 collection is full of on-trend pieces you’ll lust over next season. The collection features fresh pieces modeled by Kinga Rajzak such as collarless blazers, skirts and blouses in neon hues, asymmetric blouses, pale and pretty cardigans, colorblocked wedges and heels.

This collection adds a touch of femininity to these modern cuts.

”I love the well-dressed, grown-up mood of the season” said H&M’s head of design, Ann-Sophie Johansson, “It’s still very wearable and can be styled in so many different ways.”

I’m officially obsessed with the entire collection. It’s so hard for me to choose favorites so I’ll ask you instead: What are some of your favorite pieces?
