Shocking! Gwen Stefani ditched her signature red lip pout with hot pink lips at the Cannes Film Festival. I must admit that it compliments well with the rest of her gorgeous makeup look. The L’Oreal Paris spokesmodel looked ultra glam in a creamy hot pink lip color with smokey eye makeup, and voluminous curls.
A great lip shade to wear during the spring/summer season too.

Last week, Gwen Stefani was named the next face of L’Oréal Paris. Her first campaign is the Infallible Le Rouge Lip Color which supposedly holds for 10 hours and below is the first look of her video campaign. The ad plays off her signature cherry red lips with music playing in the background from her “Hollaback girl” single.
“I can’t believe I get to be one of the L’Oréal Paris girls. I love playing dress up, on stage or shooting videos. It’s always been one of my favorite parts of being in a band,” Stefani said.
Looks: Vintage, military with 50′s flair. The models put on a tough girl image yet still played off sexy. The collection includes leather leggings, corsets, draped tops, wool trench coats, knee-high stockings, belts over tops, and off the shoulder tops. Gwen also played in the acessories very well with the ankle boots, handbags, and long necklaces with dog tags.
Makeup:Charlotte Tillbury for M.A.C. All makeup was done by MAC Cosmetics to create a bit of edge. Models had smoldering black eyes over their blank, porcelain skin, bright red lipstick, and the cheeks stayed bare to give off the old-Hollywood glamour feel.
Hair: Inspired by the 40′s era, blunt bangs with soft curls to take on a more modern look.
My thoughts: Genius Gwen! My favorite collection at New York Fashion Week thus far. I love the vintage-inspired look. The hair and makeup really helped capture Gwen’s look for this collection.
