8 Simple Ways to Get a Better Sleep Tonight

Getting enough sleep is essential. A good night’s rest helps us train better, concentrate better, stay positive, lose weight, improve our learning ability and memory, lower stress and live longer. If you’re not getting enough Zs each night, these 8 tips can fix that for you.

1. Turn off technology

The light from tech devices can trick your mind into thinking it’s morning so power down all your electronic devices 30 minutes prior to hitting the hay. Giving yourself time away from technology can also help quiet your mind.

2. Slip into something cozy

A good set of cozy pajamas can help you relax and prepare you for a long night’s sleep.

3. Read a Book

To help power down from a hectic day, read your favorite book.

4. Drink Tea

Drinking herbal tea can help you relax before you head to bed.

5. Meditate

Wind down with some chill music at least 30 minutes before bed. With a clear mind, you’ll drift off to sleep with ease.

6. Have a Snack
