One Easy Way To Keep Your Scent Lasting Longer

Sharing is caring!

Finding a scent that defines you can be a bit of a challenge. What’s even more frustrating is after finding your signature scent, it evaporates as soon as you leave the house. You don’t want to go through the torture of finding another scent or carrying it around just to spray it everytime the scent is gone.

What is a gal to do?

There is a solution to this dilemma that is easy and costless. The truth is fragrances need some kind of base to adhere to so a great way to make a scent last is to spray on areas that are more oily.  The hairline is a great place to keep your scent intact. Another option is to moisturize the skin after bathing and then spray your perfume.

Another idea is to apply it to your pulse points. They generate heat which in turn makes the scent stronger. To really intensify the smell, rub some body oil (coconut oil is my fav!) or petroleum jelly on your pulse points before spraying your perfume.

Pulse points:

  • wrists
  • in-between breasts
  • temple
  • behind the knees
  • neck
  • bend of elbow

So, try anyone of these ideas to help sustain your fragrance throughout the day.
