Spring Beauty Trend: Berry Lips

February 3, 2014

spring beauty 03

Is it too early to start talking about spring? Nope! It’s officially February and spring fever has hit me hard! I’m already fantasizing about all the wonderful makeup trends I saw at the spring 2014 runways especially my favorite trend of all, Berry Lips.

Designer shows like Michael Kors and Joie gave lips a believable soft berry shade to perk up minimal makeup. I don’t like to wear too much makeup (I’m a natural-looking makeup kind of gal), but when I do, I make my lips the focal point.

It won’t be long until spring’s arrival, so now is the perfect time to start practicing some of your favorite looks seen at the spring 2014 shows.

Below, I created my own beauty look with my favorite spring beauty trend. See which products I used below!

Products Used:

  • L’Oreal Colour Riche Wet Shine Lip Stain in Pink Rebellion (189)
  • L’Oreal Butterfly Mascara
  • L’Oreal Miracle Blur Eye Cream
  • L’Oreal Curve it Hair Styling Cream

Step 1.  L’Oreal Miracle Blur Eye Cream is now part of my daily skincare regimen. I really like it because it helps hide the signs of fatigue like puffiness underneath my eyes.

Step 2. I don’t like to wear a ton of eye makeup so I lined the top of my lids and applied L’Oreal Butterfly Mascara to give my tiny lashes length and volume.

Step 3. I applied two layers of L’Oreal Colour Riche Wet Shine Lip Stain in Pink Rebellion (189). I love the berry color because it looks great against my skin tone, it’s glossy and very moisturizing. It lasted for hours! Another product I picked up is Nivea- A Kiss of Care & Color Lip Care in Sheer Crimson. I’ve always been a fan of Nivea lip products and red is another spring beauty trend I love.

Step 4. Lastly, I applied L’Oreal Curve it Hair Styling Cream to help soften and tame my stresses. It left my hair smelling great too!

I got a great deal on all these beauty products thanks to Walgreens! They have awesome beauty deals going on every week where you can take 20% off online. Check out the latest beauty deals here-> www.walgreens.com
